ENGLISH FAMILY TREE MAKER
Tell your family story. Review the connections. Keep a family tree.
Start with the relatives you know. Type an English sentence or use speech recognition in a supported browser. KinStory proposes an editable family graph and asks about missing details. You keep control of every relationship.

“My name is Rajesh. My father is Amit. My mother is Priya. My father has two brothers and one sister.”
The proposed graph has six people. The unnamed brothers and sister stay as placeholders. KinStory does not invent names, dates or shared parents. Review the proposal, confirm it, then name those relatives when you learn more.
Use it while talking with your family
- Ask a parent or elder about a small branch of the family.
- Type the details, or dictate in English with separate speech permission.
- Review each proposed person and connection.
- Correct a name or relationship before confirming.
- Save a free JSON backup; optionally buy the PNG + PDF pack.
Simple pricing
Building, editing and JSON backups are free. Exporting the current tree snapshot as both PNG and PDF costs $0.60 USD once. Repeat downloads are included in the same browser. Editing the tree creates a new snapshot. No subscription.
Where does my family information go?
The tree is saved on your device unless you choose session-only mode. Local rules run in the browser. DeepSeek receives the story and tree only when you allow AI processing. Paid exports are generated temporarily on our server. Stripe receives an anonymous order reference and snapshot hash, not family names or stories. Private image exports hide living members by default.
Is this suitable for Indian families?
The first version is built for English-speaking users, with an English India speech locale and Unicode names. Hindi parsing, regional kinship terminology and collaborative WhatsApp sharing are future work. You can share an exported image yourself.
Can AI find my ancestors?
No. KinStory organizes details you supply. It does not search historical records, verify ancestry or infer DNA relationships. Unclear details should remain unresolved until you confirm them.
Will voice work on every phone?
No. Browser speech support varies and requires microphone permission on HTTPS. If it is unavailable, type the story. Always check the transcript before asking the app to parse it.
